Under Pressure
Under Pressure was a national, juried visual art exhibition featuring artworks that showcase the variety and diversity of printmaking. From the practical application of educating the masses to the dangerous and world-changing application of giving a voice to the voiceless, printmaking has evolved throughout history. Through all its many evolutions, one thing has remained constant: the influence that printmaking and printmakers have on contemporary culture. Juror Marie Oberkirsch, director of Central Print selected works for display at Webster Arts. The exhibition ran November 16 - December 28, 2021. The opening reception was held November 16th at the Webster Arts Gallery.
