Small Works VI, April 1-30, 2017
On display throughout the month of April at the Webster Groves Public Library during regular business hours. Webster Arts will host an artists' reception, free and open to the public and media, on Friday, April 7, 2017, from 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity for the artists to present their works and the public to chat directly with the artists.
Small Works exhibitions are juried art shows featuring 25-30 pieces art by St. Louis-area artists. Each piece must be no larger than 16 inches on the longest side, including framing, and can be created using any two-dimensional medium. Started in 2016, and has Small Works hosts four shows hosts four per year, each on display for one month each at the Webster Groves Public Library Gallery. Webster Arts also hosts an artists’ reception on the first Friday of each show, free and open to the public, in which the artists are in attendance to present their works. The artwork is also for sale, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Webster Arts and Webster Groves Public Library, both nonprofit organizations.
